69 cj5 engine and running gear swap from 93 dodge dakota w/5.2 and auto trans ???

I have a 69 cj5 bone stock with the 225 oddfire and 3 speed trans, needs work.... previous owners didnt maintain anything. I also have a93 dodge dakota with the 5.2 v8 4x4 with auto transmission. My father was its first owner and I the second, I know how it was maintained. I want to transplant everything into the jeep.... My question is can it be done and is it feasable to do in my garage with on a working mans budget? New to Jeeps and would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions.... Pro or Con
