This half hardtop for 2007-2015 2-door Jeep Wrangler JKs turns your Jeep into an entirely new vehicle. You get the quietness and security of a hardtop that retains the ability to remove your Freedom Panels at will, but the top is easily removed by just one person. A GR8TOPS half hardtop gives you a functional bed for hauling anything from wet hunting gear to a load of mulch to filthy yard tools — anything you wouldn’t want in the Jeep with you.
The JK Recruit offers the same GR8TOPS styling cues and features as our extremely popular CJ/YJ/TJ/LJ tops:
A custom-engineered bulkhead molded specifically for the JK to seal the bed.
A tinted rear sliding window for ventilation and easy bed access.
The ability to be carried through any normal door into a house/apartment — no need for a garage or outdoor storage!
No seat legroom is sacrificed — with the Recruit installed, the seats slide all the way back.
If the half hardtop is removed, the OEM soft top or the OEM hardtop still installs easily without removal of the bulkhead.
Bed length after conversion from tailgate to bulkhead is 32″.
The kit comes with the following items:
-main rear section of half hardtop (1 piece) with 3 window cutouts – standard primer
-lower bulkhead closeout panel that closes out the cab in primer
-2 side Margard portal windows and necessary gaskets to mount
-1 rear sliding metal framed window and necessary mounting screws
-1 Freedom panel mounting gasket – installed onto main section of hardtop to seal Freedom panels to hardtop
Freedom panels ARE NOT included and must be purchased separately if your Jeep currently has a soft top.
