So in my third attempt at a valve cover gasket replacement, I decided to ditch the cork gasket and try The Right Stuff... No idea of it's going to work yet (and I have pics to post soon). I have a quick question. I know with a cork gasket everyone says just finger tight with the bolts. If I'm just using gasket maker, is there an actual torque value since the gasket maker is a lot more compressible than cork? I put it all on last night but wanted to tighten a little more today... Fingers crossed this does the trick!
