Ok I am a complete Noob, but I have recently purchased a non running 78 cj7 because I have aspirations of rebuilding it.
The parts are probably 90% there but right now I know it doesn't run nor does it have a key I have attached pictures of the jeep and of the steering column in its current condition.
I really have absolutely no sense of direction as to where to start, but I would like to get this thing running within the next year or so.
So I guess my question to you all is what do I do Where do I start, How do I know what to get from a local bone yard before I buy new?
