Replacing the rear main and the write up said to inspect the timing chain. It appears to be out of limits on slack.
Will this cause bad mileage / performance issues? My gas mileage has never been over 13 mpg city. I know it's a Jeep.
My mechanic brother says if it was that bad I would get a engine light. I am going to replace it while the oil pan is dropped. Not looking forward to it.
