Comfortable riding?

mardi 1 avril 2014

Hey y'all I am wanting to find out what I can do to make my YJ drive more comfortable and have less if no play at all in the steering wheel. I am also going to be selling it in the near future (about 6-8 months down the road) and I am curious if this will hurt the value as well. As of right now I have a 93 YJ Base model with 33x12.5 rims are 15" American Racing with a 3" body lift and the heavy duty lift shackles, rough country steering stabilizer, it does not have stock suspension but it is not a suspension lift. I bought this from a family friend and I do not know all of what has been done to it and unfortunately he has done a lot of the mechanics himself (he is not a mechanic) and he has made a few problems with the YJ in doing so.

So what I am looking at doing is taking off the 3" body lift and lift shackles, taking the tires off and putting on 30" tires or something that is still bigger but not so big that is going to still be rough. I was also told when getting my steering stabilizer installed that my steering rod was way over sized even with the 3" body lift, so I was thinking about getting a new shorter one. And I was also curious if someone could help with telling me if I could put a leaf-over kit on my YJ with no suspension lift or body lift?

I attached a couple pictures of my Jeep as of right now.

I apologize for this being so long and I greatly appreciate all of y'all's help like always thank you very much.

~Cowboy.
