Whenever I run my jeep down to the empty (according to my gas gauge) I have never been able to but more than about 16 gallons in my tank. Supposedly my 2001 has a 19 gallon tank.
I am planning to more "overland" trail rides and range is a concern. I can carry extra fuel with me but storage is limited with a TJ.
If I want to run my TJ until it is truly empty could this cause any damage?
