Just curious as to how many other jeepers out there use their jeep as both a daily driver and off roader. I am 24 years old and am currently in college and have a full time job. I work downtown and drive roughly about 1000 miles a month, so my jeep is pretty much being driven everyday. I recently just started working downtown so I am not used to putting this many miles on the jeep in a month.
My questions are:
Does anyone else use their weekend warrior as a daily driver?
Is it okay to be driving my jeep that much? (I know this sounds like a silly question but it isn't exactly a "normal" vehicle, its weighted down much from all the mods and besides doing plenty of driving to work I also take it off road when I get the chance). I just want to make sure I am not over working it.
I know most of you will probably say if you're worried then sell it, or get a second vehicle, but that's NOT going to happen. I love the jeep to much to sell it and have built it from the ground up. Also I don't have a bunch of extra money to have a second source of transportation.
I'm mostly just curious how many others of you basically do what I do and how you feel about it/experiences.
I also take very well care of it and service everything when it is due.
