Totally removing clutch quick disconnect

lundi 13 octobre 2014

Ok hope im in the right forum now posted in the wrong one last time. I had to replace my clutch master and slave cylinder. Well the person before me screwed up the quick disconnect I don't know how it didn't leak and rounded out the bolts. I decided to just run a strait line from the slave to the master. I cant get any pressure to build in my system. Is there a check valve in the QD. Well that only matters if I was trying to shift but just sitting in the drive way I should be able to get good pressure bleeding it. I would figure if there was a check valve and you opened the reservoir you would get soaked pressing the clutch pedal since its a closed system. Ive read that you can just run a strait line but not working well for me. If I do need that QD where the heck can you get them. Ive tried junk yards they cut all the lines and sell as scrap and havent found on that has a tranny still in it, jeep said they dont make them (the originals, ive found 2 on summit but they are stupily expensive and high performance.

Thnx Mike
