The other day my Jeep pissed a gallon of coolant all over the driveway as it idled. I found the problem. This "plug" with a hex key fitting on the back seemed to have backed out. Took me an hour to find it and the oring in the engine room. The threads were in decent shape so I buttoned it back up n called it a day. Today it did it again. It was idling and it spewed its guts. This time it sheared the threaded part right off. The cap was on the floor but the threaded half was still threaded in the boss.
What the heck is it called?
What the heck is it for?
Where the heck can I buy a new one? Part number, oring too? Thanks a lot
