I installed A/C and wanted a pusher fan. There was not quite enough room between the fan and the grill so I decided to cut the original vertical bars out and fab up a removable grill that bolts on. Besides I was tired of not being able to work behind the grill without unbolting the radiator. In my opinion this is a huge improvement in accessibility.
