I am in the process of negotiating a purchase on a Jeep TJ, It is registered and tagged in the state of Tn. and the title is missing in action. The owner of the Jeep is going to try and recover it but I may wind up buying it with no title. Anyone know if I would be able to get a copy of the Tn title or have it transferred to me? He can give me a bill of sale I am looking to have the jeep re-register in Alabama.
Anyone offer any assistance? I am reading up on the Tn state web sites tring to learn something.
