Vehicle: 1982 Jeep Cherokee Widetrack
Engine: 258 inline 6; T5 manual transmission
part time 4WD
Just replaced my stock calipers with calipers from a GMC C2500 3/4 PU. These have the larger piston, and they bolt on after you modify the banjo "ear" where the banjo fitting sits. The GMC banjo fitting is round; the jeep banjo fitting is rectangular.
But my problem is the guide/mounting bolts. I have been able to take these on and off until now during fitting. Now it just spins and I cannot torque the driver's side, top guide/mounting bolt to spec. It appears the bushing also spins with the bolt. The bottom bolt/guide pin is fine.
Advice?
