I have a wiring harness from a 1996 Cherokee and it seems a little odd to me because it has a circuit called Chrysler Crash Detection. It appears in bulkhead connector pinouts C2 and C3. They are a "twisted" pair of wires that I assume run through dash circuits since I can't seem to find another harness that has this. What exactly is it? I know there are logic values in the computer such as biased voltage that will trip other functions(at the very least Check Engine Light) but where does this fit in? Will it trip the CEL if the wires aren't twisted together? Is this another NAND gate? I'd like to get rid of it but it ties into a HUGE set of splices on the harness and seeing how I'm not able to relocate them(basic CJ7 bulkhead connector), I'm a bit lost as to what I should do with them.
