New one even for me! electrical problem

Plain and simple, Last night i went to take the trash can to the road, I had just installed some fog lamps so i only turned them on while i pull the can to the road with my XJ, Well whenever i would hit the brakes the dash lights would lite up. wth?:confused:



Its a 96 Cherokee Sport classic
