So I've decided that money would be best spent on some under-body protection rather than a 2" bb lift right now. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a used Upcountry gas tank skid (junkyards, CL, etc). But I'm planning to buy a beefier transfer case skid.
I've found two options so far and am looking for opinions and any other alternatives out there. I've looked at Rusty's Skid for $100 and then Quadratec & 4wd.com carry the Skid row brand for about $130 but offer free shipping. So it's a wash. Is one better than the other or easier to install? Any other decently priced options out there?
I do mild to moderate wheeling, mostly on the mild side so I'm just trying to protect stuff from bangs bumps and scrapes.
