I've been trying to trace down a small coolant leak for the longest time now and I think I nailed it down to the thermostat housing. Is replacing the T-Stat and housing as straight forward as it seems? Looks like there's one bolt and I shouldn't have to remove the fan or shroud? I will make sure to clean the mating surfaces completely. Also, how much coolant will I lose from the system when replacing the housing?
