A free engine buuut..

Hello , i was recently given a 4.0 litre , fully rebuilt , found the build sheet it was rebuilt as an "off road performance" engine. Upon opening it up i was in shock!

















Its been sitting for some time and unfortunately the elements did some damage..



i looked in the cylinders doesnt look to bad, ive started soaking them in oil . was going to start spraying all the engine to try to remove it.



Am i wasting my time . should i just pull it all apart? apperciate any suggestions
