lets play the is it power steering or is it trans fluid leak game

hey guys,



so i guess this is a common problem. The search worked but i wasn't finding exactly what i'm looking for. I noticed some small dark spots on the driveway under the grand. At first i thought it was from the YJ but then i realized they were from the WK2.

anyway, power steering fluid was below the seam on the tank. so it was clearly very low. But the cooler looks dry, but i am seeing fluid along the driver side edge of the condenser. Of course i have the trans that is sealed so i can't check the fluid level. But despite the power steering fluid being low, that made me worry about the rad leaking trans fluid. Since both the PS fluid and the Trans fluid are red (i'm assuming the trans fluid is red) that kinda leaves me with having to visually find the leak.



anyway, before i rip into this and pull the grill to find the leak, any words of wisdom? Any common areas i should look for? on another forum i saw that the PS line likes to leak after it gets hot near the rad, but they didn't specify which line.
