I need your help :brickwall
I have a brand new 86 amc 258 (not rebuilt, new from factory).
Last week i swapped my old and tired 258 with the new one. I filled it with 6 liters of bardhal BM7 10w40. oil pressure sending unit is brand new, and oil pressure seem to be ok.
When I started it, i heard an heavy noise from the valve cover area. Once pulled the valve cover off, i find that one rocker arm from cilynder 2 has too much play. It seem like oil don't fill the lifter altough (looking trough the pushrod hole) there is oil all around the lifter
What you suggest to do before remove the cylinder head ???
