new to the xj world couple questions

hi just bought a 96 xj its an auto with the 231 t case and i need a new rear ds i have a couple laying around from my last jeep 96 zj with 242 t case will these work with my 8.25 or should i JY search tomorrow? just figured since i got em i might as well ask.. also a coupe electrical gremlins drivers window works intermittently as well as power locks on all doors and the front driver side speakers dont work at all. still has factory stereo and speakers. any ideas on any of those as well? thanks for any help the XJ life is new to me so be gentle
