I'm slowly getting my jeep where I want it, I did a nutter a month or so ago and it improved everything immensely!
Here's the problem: it still has the stock carter on it and yesterday I put a carb kit into it to get me by until I get a weber carb for it. Now after starting cold, it will miss and sputter terribly and smoke some. If I hold the pedal down and keep the rpms around 1100, it will slowly clear up then idle like normal. What did I screw up? Does it need adjusted better? Did I knock a sensor loose? I shouldn't need sensors if it's nuttered, correct? Is it a fuel issue? Maybe a coil issue? I searched and couldn't find a simple answer for this...
Thanks in advance!
