Two weeks ago I broke a G2 chromo shaft in my rear end (G2 D44). Turns out my locker is toast as well. I'm trying to decide which direction to go now. G2 will warranty the shaft, but that's all....they won't cover anything else. The "cheap" repair option is to buy a new locker and use the warrantied shaft. Other options include: stepping up to 35 spline shafts, and an ARB locker, or going to a D60. In the last option, I could find an open carrier, and sell the entire rear end- G2 D44 with 4.56 gears and disk brakes.
