I been reading into getting some used JK shocks for my 97 Xj. Its for a 1 - 2” lift, with HD springs back and spacers front that I’m planning to install. However it seems there are quite some options in the shocks and I was hoping somebody could shine a light on what part number(s) I should be looking for.
I was thinking to go for the black, mono tube found in the Sahara. The Rubicon red mono tubes might be to stiff for my highway DD and I take it only occasionally on dirt roads. There are 7 springs sizes/rates from a jk. Fronts part# ending 13-19 and rear part# ending 53-60. They are shorter to longer and softer to stiffer. What would be a good part number in combination with the 1 to 2” lift comfort street ride or does it really matter and I can just go for any Sahara shock?
