Shopping list check

Working replacing my headgasket and possibly my head as well on my bone-stock '96 XJ with the I6. I'll admit that this is by far the most complex fix I have ever attempted. Things have gone smoothly so far, thanks to plenty of write-ups and videos here and elsewhere.



I have the disassembly almost done, and I planning on ordering all needed parts tomorrow so I can get everything reassembled this coming weekend. I would like a little feedback on a few of the things I am looking at. What I would like to know is if the brand/vendor is reputable, if the price is reasonable, and if not, where else I should look.



Gasket set: Fel-Pro from PartsGeek for $65.35 part # 2233-07022730



Head Bolts set: Fel-Pro from PartsGeek for $28.35 part # 2233-07045051



And now for the star of the show, the head itself. I don't know if the head is damaged as I do not have it off and inspected yet. However, I am 97% positive I damaged valves after headgasket failure and overheating, and I know I have the 0331 original head. Anyways, I am considering getting the heavier-cast head to get that 0331 off and to replace the valve train. If I do, I am looking at the head from Clearwater Cylinder Heads, part # CHR238N for $450.



Are these prices/brands/vendors good?
