2003 WJ 4.7L Timing and sensor issue HELP!!!

After replacing the passenger side head and a new set of timing chains I'm having an issue with the timing and or something else. The engine runs like crap and I'm getting a code from the computer saying its getting intermittent cam and crank senor readings. I've check the wiring to the computer and replaced both sensors. I've also checked the timing 3 times and it still appears to be correct. Is there anything that the dealer can do like reprogram the computer or do I just have to trail and error with the timing? Could the timing being off by 1 tooth cause the sensor issue and the rough/ no idle. BTW I can run it at around 3k rpm and it runs better, but it wont idle or keep running. Also anyone ever use a timing light on the 4.7l engines. I'm going to try that next week when I have time to work on it. Any help is appreciated...
