Hi, I was reading online that many of the GM trucks came with the Saginaw 84 gear box, which was apparently a heavier-duty upgrade to the model 83 box and otherwise essentially the same. I also read that the Durango came with the model 83. I was wondering if using the model 84 box would be better than the 83, and if it would bolt up to the ZJ just like the Durango box and be a worthwhile upgrade?
