I am adding some lighting, but I am confused about the state laws as referenced in http://ift.tt/1hpsloT. A lot of the states have similar laws. But they use terms such as Aux. driving lights and Aux passing lights and spot lights. In most states spot lights can be at any height, but Aux. lights cannot be more than 42 inches from the ground. But what about diffused lights (which seem to me not to be spot lights) .... Mine are bright but do not project as far as a headlight and are adjustable in direction. . .
and mine are posted at windshield height. What do you think about the legality of that or have you had experience with law enforcement with this issue? Thank you.
