I am sooo hoping someone can help me.
I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee Overland with a Uconnect RER system.
One frosty morning recently, my backup camera suddenly stopped working. I saw an icy image at first, then poof… the screen jumped to the default menu. A quick display of text in the instrument panel EVIC said something something like “backup camera needs service”.
Then I discovered that audio is no longer working on my system, as if it were set to “mute” (This is true regardless of Radio, CD, HDD, etc.). Additionally, DVD no longer displays video on-screen, although it is clearly reading the disc, with runtime and chapter information. The entire Video Entertainment System (VES) category–which used to connect my iPhone for Netflix, or Pandora–is now grayed-out and unavailable.
Any ideas? :confused:
