96GC front end shimmy

I was driving around 45-50mph. I speeded up to 60-70mph and hit a few bumps in the road and all of a sudden the steering wheel and front end developed a violent shimmy. I slowed down to 40-45mph and it went away. after inspecting it it appears that the steering control rod bushings are shot.Guys or gals, how expensive of a job will this be to replace the bushings and control rods or whatever else is causing this shimmy. the jeep is not worth a lot and has 167k miles but the body is good and everything works. thanks:(
