I heard through the grapevine that our lead time is down because business is slow.
Truth is our shipments are almost double this year over last year. And that is because we invested in new equipment and people to fix our production bottleneck. We are now at 1.7 weeks from order to shipment, and will soon reach the point where we can stock inventory and offer same-day shipping. Some sizes in standard black color are in stock now.
However, we are close to our product launch of struts for the Polaris RZR, which could set us back in lead time once again judging from the requests we have been receiving. These will be a direct drop-in replacement of stock suspension that will require no modifications. Same strut will go on any Jeep. Reservoir can be turned to any rotation angle.

Prototype 1st phase testing went well at the St. Anthony Dunes in Idaho, and at Little Sahara in Utah where we wanted to see how they would hold up under the punishing desert heat. Passenger rear got hot, so we added a heat shield to protect against the header heat that solved the issue. We will increase the reservoir size and compression damping fluid volume for the production version to soften the ride and increase jump height. Also will add adjustable compression damping to go along with the adjustable rebound. Prototype 5-stage compression damping might be a bit over-kill. We might reduce this to 3 or 4-stage damping, and save the 5-stage for the Jeep version.
