shaft angle from rear end to transfer case is extreme.

Bought 304, 75 CJ5. It was running but the frame modifications were haphazard. The cab is raised on 4" bushings and and it's got 8" shackles. The angle on the drive shaft from rear end to the transfer case is extreme. The universal joint at the rear of the transfer case is barely not touching. Can I rotate the rear axle up more or can I drop the front of the engine? Or do I leave it alone.
