42rle (new solenoid pack)
Stock for all intensive purposes
A little while back I got some overheating codes on bank one and bank two. Cleared them and no problems since. I was headed out of town and it went crazy in the tranny and the Jeep overheated. It didn't get in the red but about halfway between normal and the red. A solenoid was latched open (threw codes) I had that pack replaced. When I left the transmission shop it ran fine until it almost got to normal operating temp then it "bogged" down really bad at about 1500-2000 rpms. It would get over maybe 20mph. I took it back he plugged it back in and the went through the trans (on the computer) and it checked out fine. He told me it wasn't getting enough fuel and asked if I'd replaced the fuel filter (I have not). Since it only acts up after it warms up, I'm thinking fuel may not be the problem. It's not giving me any codes, well until I unplugged all the O2 sensors.
Opinions and experiences greatly appreciated.
