So I have a 94 ZJ 4.0 4x4 (42re I think) and I have a 97 ZJ 4.0 4x4 donor ZJ. I have a bad snap ring and I think my viscous coupler (sp) is going bad so I am thinking of just putting the 97 tranny in the 94.
Is there anything special I need to do, or should it just swap right over? My current tranny has all-time 4x4 and the 97 transmission has the 2 wheel drive option.
Also, how long will this take?
