have a 99 wrangler and need a rear driveshaft, The jeep is a 4.0 6 cyl. with a Automatic trans. I see plenty of shafts but are they compatable with mine. there's no #'s on the shaft to ref. its a short shaft, some look the right size but come from a 4 cyl. standard trans. are the the same. i'm getting a vibration and took the shaft out and drove it with no rear shaft and the vib. went aw2ay, replaced both u-joints re-installed and back came the vib. I'm assumeing a bad shaft. anyone know the right shaft to look for?
