I am preparing a set or axles to go under my jeep ( 3:73 gearing ) and while they aren't installed I'm going to replace the ball joints and brakes and upgrade my steering. I have been looking into the IRO OTK kit as well as WTF 1 ton steering kit and crown HD steering. My rig is a DD/ overland rig so I don't know if these kits are over kill. I like the Crown kit but I would like to get rid of the inverted Y steering linkage and as far as I can tell Crowns kit uses the inverted Y. I also like the IRO kit with the heims but I have heard they aren't very good for a DD. So what are you guys thoughts? Is there a better setup out there that I just don't know about?
I should also say I have looked into the WJ knuckle swap but for right now that's not an option.
