I bought a 258 as a spre engine for an amc project. It was from a late 80s jeep. Got it home when measuring for a pilot bearing I noticed the face was pretty messex up. It does not look like it had a pilot bushing, I cant quite figure out what I am looking at. Looks like the face has been ground on? Clearly looks like someone tapped some holes in it and broke some out. Am I missing something? Any ideas how to fix this so that I can get a pilot bearing to work. Fyi it is being matrd to an AMC t10
