Ive been looking into it, and it seems really awesome. A local wireless/fleet shop carries their products, and they are pretty confident in them.
The device I was looking at mounts anywhere, has a battery back up, and has a motion sensor built in, so if the vehicle is towed, itll alert you via text or email. They also can have a starter disable installed too. Its all done on a website, too, apparently, and shows a map of where the vehicle is (if it leaves a 'safe zone' you set up; its entirely governed by you).
Im thinking about getting a few (for both my vehicles) but they are pricey for the unit ($230 each) but the monthly fee isnt too terrible ($35).
Im going to see if my insurance would drop for getting this thing installed, though. Has anyone had luck with an insurance drop for a GPS tracker?
