I just bought a 1991 Cherokee 4.0 ax15 4x4. 221,000 miles for $500.
I was just taking it around my neighborhood and it just shut off, like it lost connection to something, sat for like 1 minute, and it started right back to get me home. Later that day I tried it again, started right up, went up the road and it just shut off very quick but I had enough momentum to get back into my driveway. Now it won't start at all.
And I haven't done anything since then. But before that I replaced the battery and terminals, and a few other things. I think it might be the fuel pump?
Was also wondering. Will a fuel pump from a 2000 xj 4.0 auto 4x4 work in mine?
