I picked up a 98 ZJ project the other day. It has a 4.0, auto, 8.8 rear, HP 30 front, supposedly chromoly axles in the 30, ram assist steering, rough country x series lift, 33x12.50's. The bad thing is the motor/Trans/transfer case is removed and in a hundred pieces. It was so cheap I couldn't pass it up though. So far the only thing missing is motor mounts and the brackets that bolt to the motor for the motor mounts. I can pick up a new set of mounts but the brackets are a different story. I think they fit 94-98 Grand Cherokee 4.0 so maybe I can grab some at the junkyard. If anybody has a 98 zj 4.0 I could use some under hood pics to try to piece things back together. The motor is literally stripped down to a long block and it's gonna be a puzzle for sure!!
