Is my lift installed correctly?

jeudi 27 août 2015

My rear suspension blocks are 1 3/4, and the front is two inches. My coils are factory, and my tires are 33 X 12 1/2 X 15. I'm almost certain my shocks are OEM, they are yellow if that helps anyone. I read online that the minimum lift I can have with my tires is two inches. Is this true? I have owned the Jeep since November and have not had a chance to off road it, and I'm wanting to this fall. I would like to know that everything is correct before I go. I have googled this and can not figure out what I need to do. Is it worth the money to get the two inch lift, and just gain a 1/4 inch? Seems like at one time I have read that if you were to lift to much your drive shafts will be in a bind. Is there any truth in this? I don't think my jeep does not rub with this setup, but when I park it in the yard I do hear some creeping or popping.
My bump stops are in horrible shape. When I Googled it I read I need bump stop extensions, and I'm almost certain I just have bump stops. I tried finding the bump stop extension for sale, but I could not find any at Morris 4X4 or Quadratec. Where else can I find these? When I Googled them I did not see a pic like the one in the forum here at Jeep Forum. Is there a certain size I need with my lift? I could not find anything on bump stop length.
