Relocating EVAP canister in '97 SE

I have a '97 SE that had the EVAP canister mounted on the front drivers side fender. It is cracked and needs to be replaced. Were there any updates for this in later 2.5L Wranglers that may have changed their location?

Wire Near Starter Solenoid

This black wire with capped terminal is not hooked up to anything. Searched through the FSM wiring diagrams with no luck. While trying to figure it out I found that ugly connection from the alternator, fixing that tonight. Wondering if it is part of the factory AC? Am I safe assuming it is a ground because the wire is black?

2013 Grand Cherokee broucher

I would like to know if anyone can tell me where or how to obtain a 2013 Grand Cherokee broucher? I just purchased a 2014 Summit, the 6th Grand Cherokee I've owned in 25 years. I have all the broucher's except the 2013. You know I love my Jeeps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Build Jeep from new frame/body...what about VIN # for DMV?

So I had this thought of building a Jeep from scratch. Like using a new frame, new body, and adding motor, tranny etc as I go along. Then I wondered where does the VIN come from? There are no donor vehicles in my scenario and even if there were, their VIN's are for their carcass, not my Frankenstein rig. How is that handled in average DMV's?

I am in California, but any ideas or knowledge on this would be appreciated.

98 ZJ Power locks only control both rear doors

I am installing speakers tomorrow so i'll be taking off the door panels.



While im there i wanted to address an issue where if i push the "all lock" switch on the front drivers or passengers side, only the back two doors react. Every door makes that loud movement sound but only the rear two doors actually lock/unlock.



Optimally, I want the master lock switch on the drivers side to lock/unlock every door when i flip the switch.

Mystery Leak behind Passenger Wheelwell?

I discovered a lot of rot behind my wheel well and assumed it was from excess water coming from air deflector vent drain hose behind the rear tail light. Now I pulled the hose forward, and last night it rained heavily here.



I just came in from my jeep and noticed a fresh puddle of water where I just fiberglass and resined the old rust hole. It clearly didn't originate from the drain hose, so where is this water coming from?
