This is my current jeep that i've had almost 2 years now. I sold my durango that i built up from stock and absolutely loved everything about it except for the ifs front end and the gas milage that i had with stock gearing and 33" tires

to this. Craigslist deals kept coming and i had someone fabricate a few things for me to get it to this as well as some work from myself when i could save some money and do it myself.
I absolutely love the jeep but i know i want and need more room, power, and a better on road ride. The ride that i had with the durango was as smooth as it gets and i think the tjs short wheelbase leaves something to be desired, so if i hope that an lj will be a little in between what i had and what the tj delivers and i can live with that. Going from 2.5 to 4.0 is what i'm hoping will get me where im going especially up hills. I am looking at a stock lj with around 150,000 miles on it and wanted to get some input as to go or not go for it if i sell me tj or keep looking for one with less miles. I will keep this stock for as long as i can and just do simple things to get me by and use it as a hunting rig. Does anyone recommend waiting for a 6 sp manual. Never had a manual but id love to learn but auto is just so simple.
