So I just bought this LJ. The previous owner installed 33s and a 3.75 rough country lift. He never extended the bumpstops however and I believe the rough country shocks and springs are shot. There is almost no travel to the shocks and the springs are only 13-14inches long in the front and about 9-10 in the back which seems short. The tires rub the flares when the jeep is loaded up with people but right now that's probably the problem of no bumpstops.
Would replacing the supposedly 3 3/4 RC shocks with BDS 5500 3" shocks help to fight this. Hoping I can get those and extend the bumpstops just to make it safe for now. Coils will need replacing soon as well.
