Tru-Lok Broke, replacing with ARB RD147
Re-using R&P
Have D44 "Rubicon" master install kit from Motive
Yesterday I pulled off the inner pinion bearing. Between the bearing and the Pinion head was a washer/shim that I wasnt aware of. I jacked it up pretty bad (see pictures)
Sooo I dont have a shim(s) in the install kit that are this size. The dana service manual makes no mention of it nor can I find anywhere else information about this particular ring. Unless you would consider it a slinger.
I do have shims that are the correct size to go behind the inner bearing cup and the housing. (When I removed the original cups there were no shims there..)
Should I just press the inner pinion bearing directly onto the pinion and measure this shim/washer and add it into the pinion depth shims? Or should I go on a witch hunt to try and find another one of these?
Thanks in advance.
