2001 GC tranny same as 2002 Dodge Ram

Will the transmission from a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 fit my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 4x2 ? How about a 2001 Dodge Dakota , will that fit ?

According to this http://ift.tt/1TYHmHo only a 2003 or newer Ram or Dakota has the same tranny as my 2001 GC, but http://ift.tt/1C6Pz0t says that the 2002 Ram will fit ! Who is right, which one fits my Jeep ?
