Just had the heater core flushed because I have poor heat in the jeep. You could hear the gurgling and swishing in the core.
There have been no blend door error codes or any error codes shown (used obd2 scan tool)
It was -20 Celsius today, idled for about 3 minutes and drove it 5km. Sat for 25 min. Then idled for 1 minute and drove 5km and it idled for 5 min while I got beer then drove 1km home. Engine temp got to maybe 75 c on the gauge, which is maybe 165f for you silly Americans using imperial measurements.
Before the heater core flush the gauge would maybe make 85-90 Celsius. And not quickly. Fuel econ has been the ****s, but the jeep usually only gets short trips infrequently in the winter and otherwise sits unused.
As there is no codes, where should I begin checking?
