2005 Jeep grand cherokee 4.7 Weird air Conditioner Problem

I have a 2005 Jeep grand cherokee 4.7 it was sitting for a few months and now when i turn the Ac on the compressor Kicks in 1 line gets cold the other Gets HOT. I get no cool Air if the refrigerant was low wouldn't the compressor kick on and off? It literally Feels like the heat is on at the same time the ac is on that's how hot it is. Is there something that Cuts off the heater core when the ac is turned on like a valve? when i turn the heat and ac off and just the blower is on i still get Hot air even at night when its cool out.
