Bumping threads in Tech section?

Newbie here.



I posted in the TJ Technical section about 24 hours ago.

It is already on page 3; it had one response but didn't really give me the answer I was looking for.



Do the Wizards here look back through the pages to assist others?

Is it frowned upon to 'bump' threads here?
