hello all, Just upgraded my tires to some 31x10.50 bfgoodrich t/a ko2's and I wanted to upgrade my worn out suspension next. It's pretty spongy feeling and I know some good shocks will make a world of difference. Not to mention im sure my springs are sagging a bit. Anyways, finding stock height shocks is pretty easy, which do you guys recommend for a non lifted jeeps. i was looking at the fox 2.0 ones. Now the hard part, where can I find stock height springs that have a firmer spring rate? I dont mind if it lifts it a tad, but not more that 3/4-1 inch. Any help would be much appreciated, just point me in the right direction.

Need Advice: Rear super bouncy after Mod OME Lift

I installed the Bilstien 5100 shocks all around and a Rusty's rear coil spacer. Now the ride is SUPER bouncy in the rear. I tried to push down on the rear bumper and it has zero give to it. Did I do something wrong?

I also adjusted both upper and lower rear control arms, and the track bar. All Rusty's.

Taking measurements of the rear, the driver's side sits at 24" hub to fender, the passenger side 24.5. Do I have the springs on the wrong side? Which side is the A and B OME Springs supposed to go on?

Also, the rear passenger side looks like it sticks out about an inch or more from the fender than the driver's...what did I adjust wrong to make that happen? It looks like both tires are pretty much the same distance from the front/back of the fenders.

Did I do something wrong? Need advice, please!! This thing feels pretty sketchy to drive right now.

Here is the story. My wife had a small fender bender several yrs ago in our Jeep. Had it repaired at the local body shop. Well a few months ago the motor blew. While removing the grill and headlights I found some kind of sensor just laying on the frame behind the grill. I think it bolts to the square hole in the inner grill but not sure. What is this sensor for? Thanks for any help in this matter.

Tires for Jeep XJ with 3" lift

So I've run into some trouble with finding out the best tire size to get for my 2001 XJ limited. I'm planning on getting a 3" lift and new 31" tires. I want to get Cooper AT3's. I was looking at 245/75R16, which has a diameter of 30.51" and a width of 9.6", but I don't know if they will look too small. So what size would you recommend? By the way I have 16" rims.

Clackity sounds

Yes, clackity sounds. I don't know how to describe them another way. My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo has always had a clackity noise when I drive (for the past four years). It's like the sound a train makes on the tracks. There were no performance issues, and when I got it checked out, the mechanic couldn't find anything.

Fast forward four years, and quite abruptly the noise became much louder. Also, there is a strange grinding sensation beneath my feet. Needless to say, I'm not driving it until the problem is fixed.

Does anyone know what this could be? It doesn't worsen when I turn, brake, or accelerate. It sounds like something is loose, but my fiance can't find anything obvious. He's pretty handy and has repaired my Jeep before, so he might be able to fix the problem if we can determine what it is. Thanks in advance!
